



....sorry if the flash made it too bright for detail. After pulling back the LED light into the barrel...I rescrewed all of the 4-5 screws I removed earlier and proceeded to saw off the larger, remaining orange barrel end. I used a small handsaw to do this and it only took 30 seconds to saw through. Just make sure you hold the saw straight and dont move to fast and get sloppy. I thought the plastic on the Hasbro Blaster would be hard but it's much softer than i imagined it would be. Following this I did a wet sand of the area i cut off w/ 600 Grit sandpaper and used an Xacto knife to remove all of the "plastic crusties" from around the small edges of the barrel. Next i will be trying to get the raised FCC and CE logos / writing from the side of the blaster. Started doing it with an Xacto knife. Any tips?
